Areas of Practice

Civil and Criminal Tax Contoversy

Helping taxpayers in trouble is a mainstay of our practice. We represent taxpayers through all facets of civil and criminal tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and state and local taxing authorities. We also represent taxpayers in all phases of tax litigation and trials. We have represented hundreds of taxpayers with a variety of tax related problems. Our clients range from individuals to large corporations, and all taxpayers in between. We also have represented a city municipal government with a federal tax controversy.

We help taxpayers navigate through criminal investigations, civil audits, appeals, collection efforts by taxing authorities, and we serve as trial counsel when matters are not resolved administratively. Often, other professionals contact us to assist and advise them in representing their clients with tax problems.
